situated in Guyana.

Tropical Forest Research Network seeks to promote the involvement
of European research expertise towards the conservation and
wise use of forests and woodlands in tropical and subtropical
countries.
- The International
Society of Tropical Foresters is a 50+ year old, non-profit
membership organization, dedicated to the exchange of information,
science and technology in the tropical forest regions of the
world. Their membership is available to varied groups of individuals
and organizations from around the world working in or interested
in the management, protection and wise use of tropical forests
and natural resources. ISTF members work in such diverse fields
as entomology, agroforestry, economics, sociology, community
forestry, forestry, silviculture and engineering. They welcome
members from across the spectrum of fields and disciplines and
from around the world. Any interested person may join. A membership
