Who we are

Iracambi is a community of people across the world whose vision is to see the Atlantic Forest restored, with thriving communities living in a thriving landscape.

At our headquarters in Minas Gerais, Brazilian non-profit organization Amigos de Iracambi spearheads our work in managing natural resources, developing sustainable communities and researching ecosystems. The Iracambi Atlantic Rainforest Research Center informs our work and is based on our sustainable forest farm, where we put our ideas to work.

We have a sister non-profit organizations in the US  which assists us with raising funds and awareness on key issues as well as sharing ideas and technical assistance. Our network of international partners and colleagues lend us their time and talents, and includes our international advisory panels and board members, as well as hundreds of former volunteers, researchers, and visitors.
