If you're interested in saving forests and changing lives, you don't have to travel to Brazil to volunteer for Iracambi: you can become an Global Iracambista Volunteer.

We'd value your time, energy, brainpower and skills to help us in our life-changing work. Got any special skills? Are you a dab hand at painting or graphic design? Do you know how to sell? Do you enjoy writing or web design? Do you know anyone who can help? Do you love organizing events? All talents will help us, what's yours?

In return for your help, you get to become a part of the Iracambi community, which boasts members in 40 countries. You'll feel great knowing how much a difference your contribution will make to our work, and you'll be able to add it to your resume or CV. You may be eligible for special discounts if you are able to visit Iracambi, and will be invited to Iracambi events that are held in your country.

How do I start?

1. Begin by reading through the web site until you feel you have a handle on Iracambi's mandate, main programs and projects.

2. Have a think about what you love doing, what your skills and talents are, and how you might be able to help us.

3. Work out how much time you can spare - whether its an hour a week, a couple of hours a month, or a one off project.
